The Show
“The East End is always a place where things happen!”

Meet the real EastEnders is a free Key Stage 2 'at your school' assembly, which uses an exciting combination of innovative puppetry and breathtaking physical theatre to share the stories of the Docklands.
 

This interactive and engaging session is told through 3 historical characters, and invites children to engage with themes of citizenship, community and the contribution they can make to their own local area.

Free (but cancellation charges apply)

Up to 120

Session duration:
45 minute assembly

How to book the show
Head on over to https://www.museumoflondon.org.uk/schools/enquiries-and-booking/primary-at-your-school-session-request-form to complete the online expression of interest form stating your preferred dates. You will then be contacted to confirm details.

Before completing the form, please check that you can meet the following requirements:

-Your school is in the boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Newham, Greenwich, Southwark or Lewisham
-A minimum of 60 pupils a day will attend the sessions
-Supervising teachers must be present in the room at all times

 

Cancellation fees are:

Over 8 weeks’ notice: £30
4-8 weeks’ notice: £50
Less than 4 weeks’ notice: £320 (this is the full cost of running the sessions at your school)
